"Paper prototyping is a widely used method in the user-centered design process, a process that helps developers to create software that meets the user's expectations and needs— in this case, especially for designing and testing user interfaces. Creating a Paper Prototype for your Game Idea

1. Draw a paper prototype for your game idea. Use cutouts to represent buttons, changing text and moving objects.

  • Draw the title/opening scene of your game.
  • Draw each of the scenes of your game.

2. Playtest your prototype with your team members than playtest another team's prototype if possible.


Update the Wiki:

  • Video tape your paper prototype and upload it to the YouTube.
  • Add your YouTube clip to your team's Wiki page.
  • Record comments, notes and feedback about your prototype. Leave feedback about another team's prototype.


Update the Blog:

  • Write a Blog post about this topic, share your learning experience!
